This was an exceptionally good day out, we attended the D Day special event. Facilities were good, staff were really friendly and helpful and considering the amount of people there that day even the toilets were still clean. Plenty of places to eat. Brilliant for all ages, simply can't recommend highly enough. Please visit and enjoy your day.

Love this place as did the kids. Actually sat down and watched the films telling how D Day happened. Full of interesting exhibits. Love the forgotten war section as my grandad served in the RAF on bombing missions over Burma
World War 1 displays are really well put together, D Day experience good. Would be great if the Tiger was in a position that allows a full walk around. Modern tanks are crammed together, but it is still a great sample, Chieftain, Abrams. Really good
Interesting collection of tanks, artillery and APC. But in need of an expansion...
The Land Warfare Hall was a very interesting day, with 7 hangers to have a look around from World War One Military vehicles to lots and lots of RAF, America Air Force AND the Airborne Museum was very interesting. I think it is not just one visit , there is just so much to see and read about on display, you can see the volunteers preserving and restoring the aircraft. Definitely go and take the kids they will enjoy and learn things about aircraft and World War One.
