My Mum was in the Care Home for a few days but her end of life care was incredible. The staff had very quickly, professionally and efficiently understood her needs and ensured that her death was peaceful. I will never forget being greeted at the door in the early hours of the morning, my hand held and being taken, very gently, to her room. I thank all the staff for their kindness and sensitivity to a family they hardly knew! Bless you all.

So far, the care offered to my Dad has been nothing short of amazing The staff are wonderful and are so accomodating. My Dad can be a right grumpy so-and-so but his demand for a proper cheese and pickle sandwich was accomodated today...and stopped the grumps! Its the little things that make you happt. Thank you x

My Dad had 3 months at Midfield, the care & kindness he received was brilliant, no matter what time of day we visited it was always clean & tidy and Dad was always happy which meant so much.We will be forever grateful

Great care in the week . Weekend care slow , but no different from Addendrookes hospital . Seems to be no one really in charge at weekend .But, only 2 weeks in . called this afternoon to check whether they had wifi , they don't . thought it might be a cheering up thing to bring laptop in to show pics, of grandchildren . have to get a dongle to do that . Not everyone in there has dementia , wifi would be a good thing for Midfield to have . clients could then keep in touch by e mail . cannot really comment on food but gather they will cook what your parent/partner /husband/wife would like if they are not happy with what is presented to them . well worth a look . If your poorly person qualifies for Continuing Healthcare Funding then Midfield Lodge do not ask for any top up from you . They will still have to be assessed after 3 months but that is 3 months for you to hope for more recovery . Good luck on your hunting , mine field out there .

The carers work very hard here it’s so hard to trust anywhere when leaving your relatives,it may not be five star but it’s the staff that matter not the paint on the walls
