We rented a property with Cambridge Property Lettings, in fact we lived at the Rose & Crown the same building as their offices. It has come to the end of our year long Tenancy with many issues during the tenancy such as a faulty boiler, 2 faulty fridges, faulty oven & a faulty washing machine which were replaced but was extremely inconvenient during the tenancy and we were given no compensation for this happening during the year we lived there. We moved out the property on the 1st August 2019, leaving the house in better condition than when we received it as seen in our photos below while also following everything on their recommended list of checkout. We did however touch-up a couple of walls in the property with the same paint, however they're attempting to charge us 1500 for redecoration of the entire property. It's super convenient that the check-in list is super vague and the check-out report extremely detailed clearly taking advantage of us being students. Of our deposit that was initially handed over that was 5,040.00, a year later Cambridge Property Lettings are attempting to take 2610.60 from our deposit which is to be honest beyond a joke, we're students so we'll be disputing this with TDS avoid Cambridge Property Lettings, they're a joke.

Bottom feeders of the rental world. We have the misfortune of living next to a HMO managed by this company in a formerly quiet residential street with other properties also managed by them. Successive noise complaints over several tenancies have been dismissed, and there have been attempts by several agents to throw us under the bus by lying about us to tenants about the issue rather than doing their job. This has resulted in to an increase in beligerant behaviour by the tenants. Our only respite is the 1/2 weeks a year between leases. I would imagine landlords love this service as there seems to be limited truthfulness and action from them, so I would imagine these consistent complaints never get passed on to the landlord.
