Simply put, I believe Zach, in many ways, is an old soul. His mastering skills took my debut album mixes from clean & warm all the way to pristine and balanced. He listened to my notes and nailed every audio move. I look forward to working more with this young talent. He's also not just a stellar mastering engineer but a very skilled mixer, tone chaser and is becoming a very solid songwriter / producer. Cambridge area really has a gem in Skytrack Studios & Zach Gerber. 10/10.
All I can say is WOW. Zach is a total ace, and his work ethic is second to none. I've recorded in some large studios, and this is a small space that he's made super comfortable. We got some amazing drum sounds in the room and he was really helpful teaching me while he was doing his thing. I'd hire Zach on any project, he was able to keep everyone motivated, editing and comping on the go, and move through a tough session really comfortably. Super professional, and clearly dedicated to his craft!
The quality of this place is beyond 5 stars this should really be a 10 star rating!! Love this place! The only place to go to get your recording done with excellence. Nothing but great things. Thanks for all that you do!
Zach's knowledge and musical insight is remarkable ... but what impresses me the most is his ear. By this I mean his ability to hear sounds, tones, frequencies, and nuance in the music. He can identify the smallest extra element in a track that gives it shape, quality, and life. This is no better revealed than when he produces an artist. Zach has an uncanny way of understanding the soul of the individual and their music ... and he knows exactly how to unlock the brilliance buried within.
