Receptionists are hit and miss, sometimes they’re rude and on a power trip, other times they are super friendly and helpful. I used to have another doctor here and then she sold her practice to a male doctor. Initially I was upset because I had a female doctor for a long time. However, after meeting and having a few appointments with the male doctor I realized how much better he was than my original doctor (my entire family agrees) and I am very happy he took over her practice. There is also a nurse practitioner here who is a female and you can make appointments with if you’re not comfortable with a male doctor. I have also seen other doctors here (both male and female) who are not my family doctor and I think they have all been excellent. If you ever hear they are accepting new patients, two rivers has been my family doctors office for the last ten years and I would highly recommend any of the doctors here.

Dr. Mazerolle and Dr. Schurter provide me and my family with the best care we have ever received. I have moved many times in my life and changed doctors often. I have never felt comfortable at a doctor’s office and still struggle with managing my emotions in medical settings. Never have I felt so calm, welcomed, and accepted (even if I sometimes get anxious) at a medical clinic. I am so grateful for this amazing team and the care that we have received over the past 5 years. They truly work as a team and I have always felt that they have my family’s best interests at heart. Dr. Mazerolle is our Family Physician and Dr. Schurter was my Obstetrician with my son last year. Also a special shout out to Brittany our Lactation Consultant who supported me through my breastfeeding journey. All staff have gone above and beyond for us. I simply can’t thank them enough!

This is a clinic that claims that they are happy to provide an \accessible medical service on their website\ and say this: \Communication: we will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that takes into account their disability.\ And yet don't provide an email address or an online \contact us\ form for patients who are deaf or hard of hearing. They obviously did not take into account patients who cannot use the phone. I'm Deaf and have no way of contacting them to book appointments or sign up for a new doctor. I have been trying for months to contact them, and eventually had someone make a phone call on my behalf, they still REFUSED to accommodate my disability and would NOT allow me to communicate with them directly online. The CPSO states very clearly that all doctors and clinics must provide barrier-free access to medical clinics and doctors in Ontario, and consider alternative means of communicating with patients. There are already numerous medical health portals online that allow patients and doctors to communicate with each other, safely and securely, yet they refuse to utilize this service.
I have been a patient of D Hankinson's for 24 years and he has always given me exceptional care. The staff at the clinic are always friendly and willing to help when needed. I feel very fortunate that I have been with this group of dedicated people all these years. I trust them with my health and I know they are willing to work with me.
