What a beautiful country park. Even in winter there is much to see. It can get a little muddy on some of the tracks but that is to be expected at this time of the year so a pair of wellies would be a good idea. There is wildlife here in abundance and the Highland cattle are beautiful. Parking is cheap and with its 8 miles of tracks and footpaths there are loads of signposts so you won't get lost. Will definitely return here.

We adored this place! So many potential walking trails; a spectacular location with nature galore. The beech avenue was exquisite and the highland cows were also a highlight. There is lots of room for all and space for the kids to run about and burn off energy; picnic areas and a coffee truck for the adults. We arrived via bicycle but the car park is spacious and on a glorious crisp autumnal day although full, the park itself has plenty of space for all.
Great place for a family walk. You can easily spend 3-4 hours wondering in this peaceful forest. * There's usually a coffee van to serve you hot coffee. * They close parking 4pm. * Parking costs 3 paid by coins in the parking machine (pay and display).
Wandlebury is a beautiful Country park with acres of woodland dating back hundreds of years , steeped in history and stands on the remains of a circular iron age hill fort. Also a lovely 18th century house , stables and gardens for you to explore. Just a heads up it's 3 to park all day and if you go on their website you can book in advance one of the BBQ areas for a lovely family day out
Lovely place for a walk. I recommend having a read about the history behind the Godolphin Arabian whose grave can be found under the archway in Wandlebury House.
