XEI Inc. focuses its strategy on developing new projects for the digital space (traditional web and mobile). The current focus of the company is to establish a small press publishing arm that focuses on comics and short fiction anthologies. Books published by XEI focus on digital distribution first. At this early stage the property is established across social media and given a persistent digital marketing strategy. Digital releases are then printed for distribution in traditional forms. XEI Inc. is a strong believer in the Creative Commons and a firm supporter of the Public Domain. Many works released by XEI will be released with a CC-License or similar copyleft licenses and can be found on its website, xei.io. XEI Inc. is looking to expand its portfolio into web video production and has partnered with Boom Unit Inc. to spearhead new media streaming initiatives focused on viral video marketing and unique online presentation opportunities for big name brands, corporations, and music production studios.
