I usually do not write reviews. We started piano lessons at school with a Cambridgeshire music tutor. Their communication should improve a lot, especially any minimalistic email exchange between parents and the tutor to discuss the progress. In our case, our tutor never communicated through email and not even responded to any of our questions via email. The only emails that we received were mass emails to let us know the tutor cancelled the class (on many occasions on the day of lesson) or so. Of course, hand-written notes of few lines were shared with us in the notebook however this was a one-way communication. The management did not seem to bother either. Of course, not all tutors would be the same. Like others mentioned here, you could end up with a good responsible one. We cancelled after 10 lessons (lost 200) and they did not even bother to discuss the issues in detail.

My daughter learned clarinet and flute through Cambridgeshire Music. They have very good teachers who work with their students to get the best results. My daughter's love of music has grown and I'm sure the teachers fostered this love for music giving her interesting pieces to play and keeping her challenged. Cambridgeshire Music are very good and keeping parents up to date with music news and events. I'm so glad Cambridgeshire Music was an option for us at both my daughter's primary and secondary schools.
