Very condescending and rude lady that works there. Too much money even with insurance.

Ok, make sure you bring a pocket full of money even if you have insurance with only a copay and no deductible. This place made me pay a 20 copay which I am absolutely fine with but then also wanted me to pay for my X-rays upfront which would have been hundreds of dollars even though I only have 5% on imaging on my policy that I am responsible for and the insurance covers the other 95%. Most places will bill you if you have to pay anything extra. Not here, they want it all up front regardless what your insurance says. I am not going to pay hundreds up front when my insurance covers 95% of the X-rays. I left without seeing a doctor and didn’t even get my 20 copay back! So mad, they should explain all this over the phone when scheduling the appointment.

I had a very positive experience with Camden bone and Joint. I have been to their Elgin office and the Camden office, and I have been seen in a reasonable time each time I've been there (it's still a doctor's office though, so there is still paperwork and some waiting). They were able to see me same day that I injured my knee. They took time to explain my injury and I felt like a human, not just another number! I got better and I'm now back to as good as new! I would highly recommend going to Camden Bone and Joint to any of my friends and family!

I am very unhappy with the level of care I received. I injured my knee April. Between physical therapy and other progressive measures done at CBJ the pain persisted. MRI showed I had a tear in my meniscus and a grade I MCL tear. My chief complaint the entire time was the MCL. Dr. Joseph only operated on my meniscus. I am 4 weeks post-op and I am still having issues with my MCL. A grade I MCL tear shouldn't take this long to heal. My knee is still swollen and I walk with a limp. I feel like Dr. Joseph did NOT listen to my concerns. The Elgin office is crowded most of the time. The staff seem unhappy. The only person that smiles is the X-ray tech. I'm seeking a second opinion. On a good note, my incisions are small.
