Beautiful little aesthetic of this place with very knowledgeable staff. Purchased a Pentax 67 on the Camera City website. In the description, it said it was in very good condition. Went to the shop to pick it up, and it was mint. Staff gave some pointers on how to use the camera. I will definitely recommend, and will be returning and servicing my equipment.

I had a Hasselblad 500C and lens \serviced\ here. The top-down viewfinder catch was not repaired and remained faulty despite it being specifically listed on the quote. At 249 the price was expensive to boot. The same day, out of necessity, I took the camera to Camera Museum literally around the corner and got the polar-opposite experience. Everything was done reasonably priced, my film backs were serviced properly on the spot (took less than an hour) and I actually enjoyed going there; reading their photography books, seeing the museum and having a coffee while I waited. The best advice I can give is, go to Camera Museum instead. You will save money and get the job completed professionally. I wish I had known about them before wasting my time and money at Camera City.
I bough my second F-1 body after falling in love with my original F-1. The body was a special edition that came from Japan and I was gutted to see the mirror was stuck and needed to be repaired. After checking with other repair shops around London because of Covid all gave me at least 72h to 1 week minimum turnaround. I visited Camera City on a Friday and they managed to fully CLA my F-1 for pick up Monday first thing!! Totally impressed by the fast service and how good the camera got returned to me. Smooth as new and impecable with no signs of the whole strip down that went trough! I am a professional camera op and earn my living with my kit. I always valued speed and reliability and Camera City ticked both boxes in an area of rare and difficult to find expertise that is vintage SLR repair that exceed by far my expectations.
