Camino offers a 3 course steak dinner on Mondays throughout June & July. The courses are a salad, main, & dessert. The starter is a grilled eggplant and tomato salad, which was delicious. It might look like a small serving. But, take your time & it'll be quite filling. Next, was the main course of steak. The short rib was delicious with the right amount of fat & meat. Also, the meat peels off the bone easily. The sirloin is tender & delicious. Last, dessert was peaches & figs. While I'm not a peach person, the dessert, as a whole, was a fun way to end the meal. Also, I ordered a dessert wine which paired well. The waitress treated us well and made good recommendations for my beer & dessert wine. The restaurant is pricey, so this would be a once-in-a- while treat. Will return when offered again.

Fabulous! Order the crab (when in season), get the King Trumpet if you're in a vegetarian mood....or try the duck... it's that good! Top off with Walnut meringue with poached pears and peanut ice cream with candied peanuts. The cocktails are great, too!

Cozy restaurant in Oakland. They regularly hold private dinners with famous chefs for book release parties. The dishes cooked on the fire as especially good and it is quintessential California cooking done by a talented Chez Panisse alum. Not cheap as the prices include service, but the ambiance and quality make it worth the trip.

Second time in a year, the menu rotates/changes often so pictured dishes might not be available when you visit. Good food, delicate presentation, small portions. I can't get over the fact they charge for the bread..not in line with their community table concept.
