This is one of the best places we've stayed at; although because of that you have to schedule your event well in advance (12 mos.) if you want to ensure availability. Large Kitchen & dining hall (easily seat 200 or so), large common room with a huge fireplace, large rec room, heated common sleeping houses (separate from the dining hall, common areas) with bunk beds and running (heated) water. It's about 15 minutes from the local ski resort. We love going here, and the kids love the common room and rec room for hanging out and playing games. Highly recommend it!

I go to a music school in Chicago. Every summer for about 2 weeks we go to Camp Vista to play violin and bond with our friends. We have sooo many things to do. You can go to the lake to swim and kayak, go to the vista farm, go on trials, go to church, and this list could go on and on. Now, the heart of Vista was burned down just a day ago. The heart of camp vista was their church. I was extremely sad to find out that it burned down. I had so many memeories from this camp. No one can feel the sadness that i feel at the moment. Every single day i just wish how i could be there having fun playing my instrument and friends. At the end of our 2 weeks, we have a big concert when everyone comes and watches us play. It is very peaceful there and i really do recommend to go there, especially if you want a break from the world. I really hope you do consider going there.
