A wonderful camp! My kids have always had a great experience here and people are positive and supportive. They have camp counselors come from other states and even other countires year after year. There is a high return rate for both the campers and the counselors, which says alot about the quality of everyone's experience. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Camp Wakonda most of my life. It is a truly an amazing place to join in fellowship with other christians to make much of Jesus. This is the perfect place to send your children to make memories and friendships in Christ that will last a lifetime! Come experience this amazing place!

Here as a teacher for band camp. Everything is pretty good, but the food is awful. That is my biggest complaint. For dinner our first night, we had a baked potato. That’s it! Nothing else. The students are getting little to no protein each meal. We are only given carbs to eat. It is almost impossible to be up and about all day without protein to help your body. There is also almost not enough food to go around for everyone. Everyone is limited to only one food item for each meal. This morning we were offered one hash brown for our breakfast. How is this enough for kids who are marching in the hot sun 12 hours a day?? I have left the campsite twice just to get myself some food because I was so hungry. Again, campsite and staff is great, but food is terrible.
