Less than one star is not possible unfortunately. Can not even reset password with their software and the customer service phone call gets hung up without a response. Waiting for a call back for the past 7 days. Did anyone else get this great service from this company?

transferred to 8x8 aug/sep 19. not impressed, i have asked repeatedly as to why my phones MULTIPLE TIMES DAILY are not registered? Now my ported numbers are getting spam calls 5&6 times a day. I will move my service once my obligation with 8x8 ends.

The Sales Representative Michael Fleet-Borne is an exceptional good sales person. After signing the agreement, however, no further response. It also turns out that the promised features/services are not available. After over seven sessions and many hours with their technical team, located in the Philippines, the system was finally able to accept the calls in an acceptable manner. After just one hour, the system crashed and the 8X8 technical system was not able to make it work again. While I am still in the trial period, I already was charged for the the two-year service contract. No one will return or respond to my inquiries on how to cancel this agreement, get my refund, and return the equipment.

Make sure to read the fine print on the Contract!!! The contract Automatically renews and you have to pay the remaining balance when you cancel the service. I talked to a sales person in the spring to find out when the contract expired as we were migrating our phone system to MS Teams. He indicated that the contract expired in the fall, but not that it would automatically renew. When I went to cancel the service in the fall they indicated we had a 3300 cancellation fee for the remaining months of service. I contested the fee and had it escalated to the 8x8 management team and they wouldn't adjust the fee. The person working on the cancellation also would accept a phone call and everything had to be done via email.

I am a successful small business owner. I try not to give bad reviews. I was with 8x8 for over 10 years. I never had an issue with any of their services. I called and asked if I was under contract. 8x8 replied NO. I explained at that point that I wanted to cancel and pay any remaining charges. 8x8 explained that I needed 30 days to cancel so that I should expect one more bill. I agreed and discontinued their services. NOT ON BAD TERMS! I received a 1312 charge on my American Express, I assume for some kind of contract BS. I did not have a contract. They won't answer the phone unless you have an account and mine was shut off 1 month ago. Catch 22 So I put in a ticket from my account that I can still log into and they responded that this was a customer service issue and after 4 attempts to contact customer service via message, email, phone and a repair ticket I was forced to contest this charge and leave this review. Once you are not a customer anymore then they don't give a thought to you. They are a communications company and they couldn't answer the phone because of COVID? I guess that makes sense if you live in a cave! The other large providers had perfect customer service with little hold times during COVID. I just hope they do not do this to someone less fortunate than me!
