Just a great forest walk, on one side of the road, and an ocean walk on the other

Beautiful place regardless of what time of year. Nice walk along shore all the way to Salmon Point. Look for the trail just by the trees edge otherwise it's a slog along the rocky shore. You can start at Oyster River and walk to Salmon point and have lunch there and then walk back. A great time!
