Young’s Cleaners stole my clothes. I initially took in to Young’s Cleaners a pair of shorts and a jacket to get a zipper replaced on each March 31, 2020. The receipt says \READY BY Tue 4/14/20 4 PM\ and \All Work Done On Premises\. I went in twice a month to ask for my repaired clothes and every time the owner, David, told me to wait because he didn’t have them and to come back later. Finally, after going on like this for 8 months, I went in on November 21, 2020 with my iPad recording and asked for my clothes or to be paid for them. He told me he would pay me for them but to come back later. After being told for 8 months to “come back later,” I told him to either pay me or give me my clothes. I told David I would not be coming back but a person with a subpoena would be. The last time I went through something like this was with Prudential Insurance company who lied to me about a valid claim they denied. That cost them several hundred thousand and me 10,000 for a lawyer to get it. I will sue Young’s Cleaners in small claims court and when David doesn’t pay, I will attach his business and sue him for all the costs to get the money. He will not be able to sell or do anything else with his business until he pays all costs with interest.
