I would give it 6 stars. Helen and her husband are super friendly. The room is gorgeous and comfortable. The grounds outside are superb. The breakfast options in the morning are nothing short of spectacular. Incredible breakfast choices all home-cooked. Fabulous experience. Highly recommended.

We had an unforgettable stay last weekend (July 1st 2018). The hosts Helen and Colin are not only the perfect hosts but a very wonderful persons as well. The whole surrounding is magnificent and serene not to mention the beautiful house and the sumptuous breakfast prepared especially by Helen. We are so excited to spend autumn there. I would highly recommend this place - Moonlight & Pines B&B for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway not too far from Toronto.
Fantastic couples retreat. Private space to enjoy, gourmet level breakfasts, and hosts that I can't say enough good things about. We took advantage of the location due to their proximity to Ganaraska Forest, but will definitely make a special trip again just to enjoy their B&B.
I cannot thank Helen and Colin enough for making one of the most anxiety-provoking days of my life as relaxing as it was. My (now) hubby and I decided to book a room at Moonlight & Pines during our wedding weekend at the Ganaraska Forest Centre. I will say that this was the best decision we made - we were close enough to our venue ( 400m) that we could continue organizing and prepping into the wee hours on Friday night/Saturday morning, but far enough to get away from all the business on Saturday, and actually get some sleep! Our gracious hosts prepared an absolutely wonderful brunch for myself, and 3 of my bridesmaids on Saturday morning, a request I had made about a month before. One of the bridesmaids couldn't stop taking photos of our food - it was that good that she wanted to immortalize the meal in her memory. The property itself is gorgeous, with a wonderful view of the Ganaraska landscape. Helen and Colin's home is beautiful. The guest room itself is spacious, includes not only a large bedroom, but a living space as well with a billiards table, (had fun playing pool before all the wedding prep)!. Lastly, Helen and Colin are just the loveliest and most interesting couple, and are probably the best hosts I've had in any B&B/hotel capacity. I highly recommend Moonlight & Pines B&B.
