We loved this place! Great cabin that was very clean. The open lofted floor plan worked great for family of four. Smaller campground which was great 6 cabins two tent sites. Perfect! The beach was lovely, the staff took great care after all the rain we had. We rented their kayaks and paddleboards and enjoyed the lake very much. We had a lake view from the cabin and watched some beautiful sunsets from our porch. The staff was wonderful especially Jodi Trent and Paige! We would definitely come back here. The food was good at the restaurant and drinks too at the bar. It's definitely got the Jimmy Buffet vibe!

Yikes. It’s sad because this place has a ton of potential. I have hopes for it in the future and hope this review is taken seriously as this place has LAWSUIT written all over it. Please get your act together before something irreversible happens. The Good: The sunsets are beautiful, the lake is clean, the layout is inviting although quite crowded-perhaps because everyone is checking it out during this time(COVID), the live music is a nice fun touch. The single cabins are cool. The Bad: The ice that we received in our drinks had either bugs or dirt or both. It’s one thing when it’s in the drinks but when it’s frozen in the ice that leads me to believe something is not being cleaned properly. We did not see a single adult working the ENTIRE time, every time we had a question or concern to one of the 16 year olds who “just started” they had no idea how to address it so it usually just went ignored. The bathrooms are filthy-during a pandemic none the less you would expect someone to be checking them regularly. There were children swimming in the lake long past sunset when the music from the live band was blasting, not a single life guard making sure they are cleared out. The water sports are faulty and filthy. We rented a dirty pontoon that neither of the kids knew how to run only to find it didn’t have life jackets, the motor was weak and broke down a few times, after which it began to SINK because they gave us the completely wrong boat, which they boy working the front desk admitted to once we returned the boat early and were then met with attitude from the boy working the desk.....no one has returned our calls in regards to the dirty dangerous boat.

Very cool place for the family. Entrance is of no charge. A mini paradise away from home. Order food, drinks, and tons of fun. Volleyball, and other games, Campsites and kayak rentals available also. I will be back to discover more. My kids loved it!

Amazing place for the kids and the price. Small enough to keep an eye on your kids and enjoy some time to relax. Downside we paid extra for our kids to be able to go on the inflatables, but most of the other kids didn't, and it takes 45 mins to an hours to get food or drinks from the bar. Need a few more bartenders and maybe not make people pay extra to use equipment if people who haven't paid to use them get to do so without even being checked. But the food was good drinks were great. I'd definitely come back. But I won't pay extra to use the inflatables when 90% of the kids didn't and ate able to

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place so I was excited to try. Sadly I wasn’t overly impressed. The beach is not very big. A hundred people can easily Make this place feel crowded. When their website said their was a restaurant on site I wasn’t expecting a counter you walked up to to order. The line was long and took 30 minutes to receive 2 burgers and an order of fries. When I asked the cashier about our order she said burgers take a while because they are fresh. Yet when I mentioned another customer who ordered after me received his burgers she said they might have had some set aside! Wait... I thought they were made fresh! They do have some additional activities for the kids which is nice. We paid 10 for the kids to play on the inflatables in the lake, I’m not sure how many others actually paid, so I feel like we got dooped. I won’t say I won’t come back but it’s definitely not going to be at the top of my list.

Unfortunately I feel the need to write a review. I haven’t visited this place this year. We usually frequent this place each year though. My kids wanted a birthday party here and I am sad to say the event coordinator/management disappointed my husband and I MULTIPLE times in the planning of the party. The first couple times we didn’t have a response to emails and phone calls we weren’t to upset being we figured things were just starting to get busy in the season for them. After 3 weeks of trying to contact someone to speak with them about having a party we gave up. We have emails and phone calls that STILL haven’t been returned. We spoke with 3 people who all said they would have management call us back and no one did. As nice as the beach, view, and lake is, the staff has never impressed us. We have never felt the urge to return due to great customer service. I guess I should’ve know better then to attempt to book an event with them.

Worst boat rental I have ever used. The boat was completely unsafe and almost sank. We rented a 16 person boat and they gave us a 12 person boat. It was 20 years old and covered in mold. It had not been cleaned before we rented (at 10 am) and the child who gave us the keys did not give us any safety instructions or know how the boat worked in any way. He gave us repeated attitude after asking questions, asking to speak to a manager/adult and refused to give us a refund after we returned the boat early for safety concerns. There were no life jackets on the boat either so not only was it unsafe, but also most likely illegal. I would never rent from them EVER AGAIN.
