We took beautiful Daisy to lovely Looe for a long weekend .... 2 grown ups and two children (aged five and seven). We all had much fun and a wonderful adventure in such a beautiful part of the world. Couldn’t believe we had so much sleeping room even though we two adults were relegated to the smaller double bed in main cab ( the kids were insistent they had the room “upstairs “ ). The slow pace was just right and thanks to Paul’s driving lesson we had a great time with memories to treasure forever. Thanks guys. We would totally recommend Camper Hire Escapes for the whole experience from start to finish.... you’ve thought of everything!

I hired Daisy for 4 nights with my partner and two tweenage boys. Heather and Paul couldn’t have done any more to make sure we were comfortable. The scrapbook set, shortbread and jam were a lovely touch. As was the 1978 soundtrack for the journey! We had a super trip around Cornwall and found the van really cosy and all the features easy to use. It was spotless! Highly recommend for other families, the kids LOVED it.

We had the pleasure of taking Daisy the VW camper van down to Tristram campsite in Polzeath for a much needed long weekend, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Daisy has been beautifully renovated (both interior and exterior) and is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful getaway as a couple, a solo traveller or as a group of friends (not to mention the fact Daisy puts a smile on the faces of everyone she passes!) Heather and Paul made the whole experience completely seamless and easy, and we could not recommend Camper Hire Escapes enough. 5 gold stars!!

My husband and I hired Daisy (the campervan!) for a honeymoon trip to Cornwall. Heather and Paul were brilliant hosts from start to finish and had obviously spent a lot of time on equipping Daisy to a very high standard and thinking through all the little things which made our trip extra special. They themselves are experienced campervanners which showed itself in how well they had kitted out Daisy with every eventuality covered. Heather and Paul dropped Daisy off with us at Truro Station which was very convenient as it allowed us to arrive and depart by train. At Truro they gave a comprehensive introduction to Daisy, including a run through of how to handle Daisy when driving. Very sweetly they also gave us some treats to set off our honeymoon. We had a great time with Daisy and would definitely recommend hiring with Camper Hire Escapes to anyone considering a vintage VW campervan trip in Cornwall or Devon!
