Super location in the heart of the Rio Vero gorge. ACSI site. Grass or gravel pitches for motor homes, caravans or tents. Some cabins and yurts with sitting area. Pitches on some steep terraces, some tracks a little narrow for large units. Lots of tree shade, electricity on all pitches, plenty of water taps. Disposal areas outside site. Shower/WC/laundry/dish sinks all very clean but well used. Lots of steps up and down terraces. Great location for hiking, climbing and river activities. Very quiet in Sept when we visited
Very good pitches for touring motorhomes, yurts available for accommodation by the night too. Very quiet when we visited in late September. Helpful staff on reception. Restaurant and bar on site. Motorhome service point across the road and VERY difficult to access with 6,5m vehicle, no fresh or cassette rinse water there, so it is better to carry your cassette to empty it. Roadways narrow, with overhanging trees in places and extremely tight corners some on steep slopes. Toilets and showers ready for refurbishment.
Very nice place to stay. Stretched out. Lots of space. Take a walk in the river and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Nice quiet location. Perfect in fact for the area with local guides and lots of places to go from here by foot or by car. Price wise us Very good value.
A friendly and well situated family campsite. Not the most sophisticated of campsites but that's part of its charm. The supermarket is well priced and the restaurant serves delicious and plentiful meals (good value for money). Lovely spot by the river with a few swimming spots within 10 metres of the entrance.
Site a bit basic but close to some of the most stunning countryside and villages I've seen. Alquezar is a must day out when in the area with a huge car park just outside of the town.
Great site. Level camping. Very clean. Staff were all helpful and friendly. English spoken. Food was good in the restaurant.
