i would like to preface the review by saying that I have yet to find a single decent pizza place in rogers park. literally dominos may be the best option. food arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected. had to microwave the pizza but it's February so what are you going to do. i ordered the standard supreme and the green peppers and mushrooms had a strange aftertaste and many of the toppings were not attached to the pizza and just fell off.

This place is an anchor in the neighborhood. The food and service are great, but what I like most are the personalized messages on the marquee out front which commemorates milestones in their customers' lives (e.g., wishing a child a happy birthday, celebrating an anniversary, etc.).

Recently, we ordered take out: pizza, fried pickles and a salad. Love everything that we have ever ordered for over 8 years! Not only serving great food but they also serve our community with food donations and supporting local Warren park ball teams! Thank you Candlelite!

Surprisingly great food from an unsuspecting exterior. Inside has a decent sports bar vibe, but the food is exceptional. Drinks are so-so.
