Fort Aguada situated in North Goa is the better maintained of the two forts in North Goa... The lighthouse still looks regal... The approach road to the Fort itself is full of greenery and creates a soothing effect on the eyes... However, the place could be developed better by the authorities... currently what is being kept open for sight seeing is not much.. if the fort has more areas then tht could also be opened for tourists otherwise it does not make much for sightseeing...
It is vary old fort . From Baga beach u can take bike rental . Rental bike and Scooter is only good options in Goa . Good think there is no entry fees.
It's good to visit one of the best Portuguese fort in Goa, thought scenic beauty is not so awesome from here but due to its historical importance it's a must visit place for travelers. You can also see a beautiful light house here.
Nice place to visit in Early Monsoon season, apart from little history it is a scenic place and Good view of seashore.
This place is located at North Goa It is about 10 kms from Candolim They charge 25 for visitors of India and 300 for foreigners The irritating thing is about parking they charge more...
