A place to be visited. It's astonishing. I will come back soon, for sure. And Txell Juvany is really a great tourist guide. Congrats you all.

We were guided by Marixel wich is an excellent guide. She's friendly, calm and has a lot of knowledge about the place and the region. The castle itself is very beautiful, well maintained and grand. The Game of Thrones fans will be pleased as every filming location is tto be viewed on the tour wich takes about an hour. Come early in the day, as you will be in a smaller group and you will be able to take better pictures.

A gorgeous castle. Medieval in origin, but of course greatly improved in the beginning of the 20th century by Domènech I Montaner, one of the famous modernist architects. A development identical to art nouveau in the north of Europe. The windows - either in lead or stainedlead - in every room are differently styled. Each room has some interesting details. You are only seeing probably half the castle. The rest is still inhabited. The tour is a strict 45 min. The audio guide explains everything in each room as indicated by the audio number. Explanation in at least 6 languages incl Russian, Japanese and Chinese. The guide will urge you on and is mainly there to maintain speed and direction in the castle. Beware, that there is no parking for cars in the direct vicinity of the castle other one than parking on a dirt road, with very limited space.

Una visita interesante. Para mi gusto caro, pero desde luego me ha gustado la visita. The guide talks mostly in Spanish, mixing Catalan sometimes. If you want to visit the castle and want the explanation in your language please ask before visiting.
