Good supermarket for tourists, as it has everything from food to household supplies. Prices are reasonable (e.g. 1kg of Tuna for 7!). Free parking for up to 2h. We also found the staff to be helpful. The bakery is only as good as most supermarket bakeries, but would highly recommend overall!

Pingo Doce is our favorite supermarket for our daily shopping when visiting Madeira. Easy to get to, convenient & free parking, good selection of food and wine, reasonable prices. Good take away foods for dinner or lunch. Highly recommended!

Small but convenient. The parking spot is tiny and foe big cars it's difficult to enter. The other place, Continente, is better in terms of space, but not as good as Pingo Doce in terms of products with discounts.
