There’s no better place when going to the beach in Oregon for a good beer. Pelican brewery is clean, it’s close to the beach, it has a couple locations on the coast and everyone is so nice. We love their tsunami hamburger( I get it with a salad and a veggie patty). The kids like their freshly made pizza and root beer. You can eat inside now with up to 8 people or there’s also tables and fire pits outside to keep you warm. The town of cannon beach is so quaint and the beach has beautiful views anywhere you turn with iconic haystack rock.

They used to have a great menu. Now they scaled it back due to pandemic? They are now offering primarily burgers and flat bread. Cannon Beach already has several burger places. They should have been a little more creative with their menu.

We went to the location in Cannon Beach and after we left couldn’t stop bringing up the great experience we had. The server offered us great suggestions on beers (the cream ale is my fav), split our food for us on separate plates (I love when restaurants do that), and were overall super friendly and accommodating. He also brought us a samples that he thought we’d like based on the beers we ordered! The food was also excellent. THEN we went to the location in pacific city, which is right on the beach, and had an equally great experience to the point that it was comical. We got huge flights and they again split the fish & chips for us (which were phenomenal). At the end of the meal our server came up and offered us a free beer because she remembered my boyfriend’s birthday on his ID was ‘96 and they’re giving out free beers to people born in the same year as their anniversary. Two incredible service experiences, with great beer & food as well :)

What an amazing place to eat, relax, and have some awesome food and beer. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. The food is some of the best in town. You will be happy with the wide selection of beer and they even have beer pairings to each of their food items on the menus. This place is worth adding to your experience of Cannon Beach. We had Krista as our waitress and she is hands down the nicest and most thoughtful waitress out of all the establishments in town. You will not go wrong dinning at this place. Thank you Pelican!
