I have passed my test today, the examiner - Stuart - was very calm and friendly, and gave very clear instructions. Even the bits I considered difficult (like reverse parallel parking) went very well because I felt relaxed and calm next to him. Nevertheless, I am giving the Canterbury Driving Test Center 4 stars because I also had a terrible experience there. The examiner was a tall, brunette woman whose name I've blocked out because of the stress she caused me. She was rude, abrupt, unpleasant, and clearly enjoyed her power. At some point during my test with her I actually had tears in my eyes. I am not an easily intimidated teenager, I am a woman in my 50s. So, can you imagine how someone much younger feels sitting next to that dragon? I think that DVSA Centers should create some sort of feedback system and get rid of the examiners who enjoy their position of authority a bit too much...
