A wonderful find. We stumbled across The Goods Shed while driving through Canterbury and weren't disappointed. It's a real gem - an old railway shed filled with food market type concessions full of tempting food and drinks. There's also a restaurant though we didn't visit that this time. Right now (COVID times) it's ideal as it's well ventilated with large doors on all sides that open to the elements, but also covered to keep the rain (or snow) off.

I've been going to The Good Shed for over 10 years. The eggs are amazing as are the vegetables, cheese & all their goods. Lovely staff & atmosphere.

A lovely selection of locally sourced fruits, veg, meat, eggs, cheese, wines, preserves, oils and fresh baked items and more. Would 100% go back for more.

We throughly enjoyed our time at the Goods Shed, for an evening meal. We shared four of the small plates and two small puddings. All of dishes were of excellent quality, but particularly the Quince Snow and Plum Fumble (a crossover of a crumble and fool) desserts. Staff were friendly, service quickly, interior quite unique and prices reasonable for the level of quality.
