Not only was I there and blessed to be part of an amazing, loving family I am still in contact with everyone and continue to be blessed by them. They took me in straight out of jail and loved me until I figured out how to love myself and above all love God. I credit the caliber of woman I am today to the foundation I received in my short time there. I never had one unmet need or want, was never asked to do too much and always treated like a daughter. I was no easy task but they never gave up on me. Still a piece of my heart is there

My daughter was in the program here at Bethany's place 6 years ago. She did 18 months. In that time she was not just a case but she was like family to Sandy and Nivea. For that matter my whole family as well as all the other girls and women's family became famile to these 2 women as well as to their children. I looked so forward to my visits there to see my daughter but also to see everyone there. We never left to go home with out the true word of God, a fulfilled joyous soul and a completely full stomach. This place and these women also helped me regain myself confidence in just being there once a week to visit. I would recommend a thousand times over to anyone that needed help to go here, you will find peace and love that I promise.

I would never in a million years suggest a place like this for Any family member or friend. My friends daughter was pretty much kidnapped from him and brainwashed into spending her entire childhood and young adult life here. She was not allowed to contact family outside of this place. He was not allowed, or anyone else , allowed to contact her from the “outside”. It’s very sad and very heartbreaking to know there are children being raised there that have family wanting so badly to be in their life, and can’t. It saddens me to the core. Why is this place even legal or allowed to be? Why is this ok? Where do families go from here? There’s no support from the community at all. It’s almost as if this Bethany Place has a “hold” on the community. Like the city or community has to be “hush hush” about Bethany Place. Again, where do families go from here? Heartbroken for these children but especially for my friend and his daughter.
