LeRoy is a master craftsman, plain and simple. He's great to work with and produces some truly magnificent rifles. Credit to his wife, Connie, too, for the top-quality checkering. I found him through an Anschutz forum, since he's done many match-grade .22lr builds in the past. I wanted a truly special rifle that I could shoot forever, and boy did LeRoy deliver. It was a fun process choosing the wood, standard options, as well as some custom engraving and stock shaping. The finished product is impressive. The barrel is floating, but the gap is so small and perfect you can't even see it. All the screw heads line up. Any joint between wood and metal is seamless. This build was a fun adventure, I hope to work with him again in the future.

I was looking for a unique set of skills to craft a new rifle for an up coming hunt. I came across Canyon Creek Custom Gun Stocks because I was searching for a unique piece of wood for the rifle stock. After some conversations with the owner LeRoy Barry and seeing his past creations it was an easy decision to have LeRoy build the rifle as well. He listened to what I had in mind and made well informed suggestions when necessary. Being able to customize each facet of the build was a very exciting journey which LeRoy seemed just as excited... a sign of someone who loves his trade. LeRoy's wife Connie did the custom checking which is the first thing people comment on after the initial awe of seeing the rifle. The result is a 7mm Rem Mag precision rifle that shoots 1/4 inch MOA at 100 yrds. It truly is an experience to have a custom rifle made, it's worth every dime spent everytime I take it out of the case to shoot... which is often.
