The medical staff and physicians who work at the wound care center are well versed in the skills associated with large wounds and patients who have them. I am with my brother who had a LARGE wound following surgical removal of an equally large tumor from his side. His wound has been closing steadily under their care. My brother has not been at all uneasy concerning their administration of wound care procedures. I have to give due credit to Bridget, homecare nurse working for Holy Redeemer, who aptly cared for the wound between weekly visits to the wound care center. She is very caring, compassionate, concerned and skilled in wound care as well as patient care.
