Would recommend Renaissance Solar to anyone wanting to install a solar geyser. Answered our questions regarding solar geysers, were prompt with the quote and quoted on a number of different options. Installation was professionally done by Gary and his crew. No marketing hype.
What an absolute pleasure to deal with. Efficient, friendly, clear communication, high standard of workmanship and very fairly priced. Renaissance Solar replaced my geyser after it burst, within a few days of making contact. They came out to inspect immediately, (no charge) isolated the geyser, then provided 2 clear quotes with the various options requested the next day. My install was complicated as the hatch was poorly positioned, the roof needed to be modified to fit the geyser and resulted in a return visit being required, all this was dealt with in a good natured way, and no extra charges applied for the additional visit. Highly recommended.
Very bad experience they installed different size copper pipes (smaller) then quoted and invoiced on my solar system. I found this out after 9 months was not able to check it before. First they did not believe me then they did not have time to check it out them self’s, or replace it. I had the pipes replaced by an other plumber but renaissance solar refused to pay the cost for the material and work. I received lots of very client unfriendly emails. I would not recommend this company to anybody. They do not take any responsibility for their bad workmanship, and their after sales communication is horrible.
