The Rusty Oak Bistro is a nicely hidden away restaurant away from many distractions. The vegetation is remarkably calming and peaceful. The food was great as well as the atmosphere. Family, dine in or friends its a great place to meet and have a good time.

Our takeaway delivery that consisted of nachos and pizza was seriously disappointing. The nachos barely had any toppings with just a blotch of cold hard cheddar cheese in the center. The pizza base was burnt, the bacon topping was mostly fat and the tomato sauce sour - frozen pizza from the supermarket tastes better.
The service is exceptional and the food is amazing definitely recommend them!
Best pizzas and pork belly burger we had for a long time. Sadly this place seems to be a bit underrated, as it was unusually quiet but that might be due to covid that people are still reluctant to go out. Outside tables widely spaced out so not an issue. A real hidden gem right here on our doorstep in Durbanville. Give them a try, you won't regret it.
Friendly staff and great setting. While being in the middle of Durbanville one feels like one is out on an estate. Well spaced tables, good music and very nice food!!! Children friendly too.
The rusty oak recently got a new look and is more fabulous than ever. From craft beer on tap to incredible cocktails, this is THEE place to be!!!!! Not to mention the food, the chef outdid himself!!! Highly recommend this for any day of the week!!!
Great outdoor setting which allows for social distancing. Their selection of craft beers and good food make it a great day time venue.
We ordered strawberry milkshake, not available, we ordered pizza, no cheese. And this is on a short menu.
