What a hidden gem, the staff are friendly and the food is too die for at a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that we waited an hour for our food but I'm hoping this was an isolated issue. There was live music but do check their website for more as they have comady nights and more. There are tons of specials on different days of the week too. Parking is close and safe. Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair friendly but is accessible.

The best smokey flavoured pulled pork burgers. The pizza was delicious, had a really good pizza sauce. The smell of the ribs passing by my table made my mouth water. I'm trying those next! Chilled vibe. Beautiful mountain view out on the deck. Comedy night was awesome.

OMW. I live in cape town, why did I not know about thus place before???? I wasn't expecting much when my friend told me about a breakfast that is R30 something. For R30 odd rand? I said.. let's give it a bash!! It's at Villages. Drove past there for years and never knew what it was. Saggy stone is a sports pub inside, overlooking a sports field. My my my. We had the Unbelievable breakfast. It really is ...unbelievable. And there is a cappuccino and chips included!! My friend absolutely loved the chips. When the food came I said : we are DEFINITELY coming here again!!! We had the pleasure of a sweet Chantelle looking after us and later a lovely Crystal looked in on us and apologised about the wait. We didnt care about the wait,we were still trying to come to grips with the R39.50 breakfast. Our entire bill ,for 2 people , came to R147!!! ( We had mushrooms add ons and the garlic ,olive oil pita looked good.with cheese added on). The pub looks like it can be a lekker fun place in the evening. They advertise a special everyday. And I really need to try out the Sunday lunch. Theres Safe parking Wonderfull staff. Great prices. The place is perfect. They also have a ramp so wheelchair friendly.

We discovered this gem a couple of months ago and visited a number of times for lunch and dinner - the atmosphere is amazing especially loved the live music. The food is amazing and the prices are generous. The staff are of the most friendly and professional I've come across. I'll definitely be returning

Food was fine. Covid-19 protocols sorely lacking. No ventilation. People dancing, singing, moving without masks.

Checked in a few times for breakfast, lunch and dinner, great pub food and everything is well priced. Service is good and a lekka vibe. Definitely a great place to hang out and drinks are really affordable as well.

Saggy Stone Villager Pub and Grill is in the pub at Villager's in Brookside and is a pleasant place to pass time and grab a bite. Their menu isn't huge but it's sufficient. Saggy offer a special daily on their food and we very often take advantage of it. My favourites are the Wednesday special of chicken fillets with a creamy sauce and chips and salad (R65) and the Friday night special of pulled pork or pulled beef burgers with chips. They offer their own brand of craft beer which is superb. Sit outside on the patio and sip your sun downer while watching the rugby practice or listen to live music (not every night) or just chill and watch the sun set over the mountain with the distant cry of the guinea fowl in the background.
