What a great music shop. Bring your gear here for servicing tune ups etc. Friendly staff and lots of nice gear to buy trade etc. Normally I service my own guitars but one of my guitars needed new wires and jack so took it in for full service and it all got sorted out nicely. There is a little clothing shop at the back with other odds n ends too. If you looking at starting out in music or already a muso it's a good store to check out.

What a find! Spent time on their website but the site just cannot do the physical store justice. A magical space that has you in awe of all you see and hear, from the moment you step inside and the inventive door-chime announces your entrance. Peeps are friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Even the toilet leaves you with a huge smile.

So I had my 1st visit to this shop today as Im from out of Town . What a cool shop ,they have good gear for sale and the shop just has an awesome feel. They also have a section that sells all kinds of other stuff like kiddies books jackets etc. Felt more like I was visiting with a friend than shopping. Staff are friendly and chilled, thanx for brightening up my day.

The guys at gear junkie is a great vibe. I’ve got my guitar amp fixed there, and got a few of my mates to go there after me. They all feel the same way. Excellent service, highly affordable and generally just good vibes from the store! I dropped my guitar off today and so excited to see their handy work on my swrvice

A Cape Town music industry institution. For buyers: a great range of secondhand gear, ranging from cheap n cheerful to collectable classics. For sellers: a convenient way to get your gear in front of buyers without having to listen to 'Smoke On The Water' for hours on end. It's one of a kind. Oh, yeah, they mend stuff too.
