I always apologize to the staff answering phones. They're generally extremely pleasant and seem to try to be helpful. The thing is, I wouldn't be calling if this company didn't continually deny coverage for medicine I was on for decades before buying what we thought was the BEST coverage. We shopped very, very carefully for the best coverage and pay a gazillion bucks a month. It seems more a contribution to their bottom line than health care coverage. We'd NEVER have bought it had we known how much they interfere in your care by denying prescriptions. Go Bernie. This company has convinced us we NEED a national system. If, in this system, you pay massive premiums for pretty much nothing it means ( no, really ) we're just kind of donating to some opulent, fraudulent charity. Who supports their poor, needy CEOs.

Capital Blue Cross has great plans for Medicare eligible folks. They have the plans with great benefits with things other plans don't offer. Over the counter benefits of at least 15 dollars per month. A free gym membership. A full dental plan at No charge with a 1500 benefit per year. A large network that almost all doctors accept. You can travel out of state and still pay in network copays. They have 3 offices you can walk in for help if your tired of trying to handle things by phone. Great customer service. Accepted by almost everyone. In business over 80 years. They sponsor events in our community and give generously to people in need in the service area. Top notch company.

Horrible customer service. My husband is being ignored by his rep. The company has fudged up MY coverage, but the geniuses working there can get it fixed. This has been an ongoing issue since May!! Get with it
