I love Capitol Pediatrics. I love the bright cheery colors on the walls with the cartoon character decorations (makes it a pleasant inviting experience for the kids) The front desk is so welcoming with their smiles. The front desk staff are always on top of things and I love the fact that I can send messages to the providers on the portal and receive a prompt response. Dr. Allen is so thorough and is very patient with my two children, she listens to you without you feeling rushed and I also love how Dr Allen interacts with my children to make them feel comfortable during the visit, I would highly recommend this office!

We love this practice and have been going here for the past 16 years! The staff is always friendly, efficient and very helpful. In particular, I can't gush enough about Dr. Allen! She is patient, kind, thorough and deeply empathetic. Her knowledge, bed-side manner and communication skills are on point. Dr. Allen is always willing to take time with her patients and never makes you feel rushed through questions and appointments.

We are absolutely in love with our Pediatrician (Dr.Allen) and all the staff at Capitol Pediatrics. Being a first time mom I was nervous and scared but they all reassured me and calm every fear and concern. I was even able to meet with the pediatrician and get a tour of the office before I had my son. That was almost 4 years ago and now I consider them family. Even in the midst of a pandemic I’ve been able to get tele-med visit and it was easy and saved me time from going into the office. If you need a pediatrician office please consider Capitol Pediatrics they know children!!

This office has caused many headaches for me and my family. Once I left the state of Virginia, they have continuously refused to send me immunization records and fill out information about my health records. They stated they would not help unless I came in for a physical examination. I am an adult now and I live a couple thousand miles away. Many of the people in this office have made it frustrating to attend schools due to immunization records and refusal to send records. These forms are only asking for dates of immunizations and no other information besides my name and date of birth. I have been dismissed by them because I sound young and they refuse to help me as a health care provider. All of my experiences should let you know that if you plan on moving, plan on switching doctors now. Otherwise, you won’t get any health records from anyone at Capitol Pediatrics. Without these experiences over the past 4 years, I would have rated my experiences at Capitol Pediatrics as 4-5 stars. It’s a shame the administration has caused this amount of stress.

We love all of the doctor's here! We see Dr. Jones for most appointments, but have seen all the other doctors for various reasons over the years. Each doctor is so incredibly kind, sweet to our daughter, sits down and takes the time with us. We never feel rushed, always respected, and we don't have to wait long to see the doctor either! It's fairly easy to get an appointment, even same day, and I love that they have sick walk ins and Saturday appointments if needed!
