Very nice hotel with massage couches, TV in every capsule and friendly staff. And you've got a view on one of the main streets of shibuya. It was a little annoying that you have to check out and check in every day, but it seems to be common practice in Japan. All in all a great stay and I will come back for sure.

Would give less than one star if it was an option! Filthy accommodation! Poor customer service! No separation between smokers and non smokers.
Here is what I liked: 1) Staff: friendly, helpful, kind, and all around great 2) Capsule: long and wide. TV, headphones, dimming light, one if the better ones. 3) Price: Amazing deal for the price Minus 1 star for a few inconveniences: your locker, the wash rooms, and your capsule are all on different floors. So if you need something and are the 10th floor like me, you need to go down the one elevator they have grab your stuff, go to the bathroom, back to locker, then back to your capsule. It would be great if they had the lockers on the same floor as your capsule.
It's an interesting experience. The staff is comfortable with English.
I had to try a capsule hotel. Had seen them on TV and was so intrigued. First let me say that as a big man (6'02" 275 and 31" across the shoulders) it was a TIGHT Fit and a bit claustrophobic for me. My daughter is MUCH smaller and loved it. It really doesn't work for me, but, if you have a smaller build should be a nice experience. Overall was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and accommodating (even though they were giggling as I tried to stuff into a capsule lol even I laughed). Great experience.
Good location in Shibuya with lots of bars and restaurants close by. This was my first experience in a capsule hotel and I enjoyed it. The sauna and bath are good ways to relax after a long day of walking around Tokyo. The price of the hotel is very reasonable, especially for Tokyo. This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Shibuya metro station.
For 5000 yen in Shibuya, this place is not bad. The bed is hard, but it's got all the amenities. This was my first capsule hotel experience, so that alone made it a very unique and enjoyable experience. It is a male-only capsule hotel, FYI.
I missed my flight and needed a place to stay. I was stranded. I had to wait until the next day for my next flight out of Japan. I went to see a friend near Shibuya and recommended I find a capsule hotel in the area, so I did. The only problem was that it was 3 am in the morning and I made my way to hotel, and everything was fine until the owner said that without my passport I cannot stay. I had to walk 1 hour to the nearest capsule hotel in Shinjuku which was cheaper, and more accommodating. They only asked for my first name and no passport, although I had my driver’s license, the Shinjuku capsule never asked for it. On top of it it was 2500 yen cheaper and let me check out at 6pm! The Shibuya capsule wanted me to check out at 11am but with a 1500 yen charge I could check out late!! Astounding! On top off that the Shibuya capsule hotel was not very polite and was discriminating against foreigners!! Stay away!!
