This restaurant has amazing food, a great welcoming atmosphere, and a very pleasant staff. I would highly suggest this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And to add to the pleasantries, it has an amazing sea side view. 10/10 would recommend.

Pulled in here because it looked nice and the sign out front stating "best breakfast in town" caught our eye. We were seated quickly and the place was empty aside from one other family. Service was prompt and our food took no longer than ten or fifteen minutes to arrive. Gotta love how quick breakfast is cooked. My meal was as expected and I had no complaints. Can't really screw up biscuits and gravy. My wife however was displeased. She ordered a shrimp omelet and when she took her first bite she was surprised to find it full of what looked like a pesto paste. When we asked the server about she simply said it's a shrimp paste that they cook. What a turn off. The host approached our table not long after inquiring if we enjoyed the meal and after we told him our concern he said that the shrimp are placed in a blender with the other ingredients and then cooked. The menu description had none of this information and it was not appetizing. Overall we were displeased at how it was handled.

Christmas Eve 2019 They were blowing “snow “ from the roof on this beautiful Florida evening, the path from our cottage led us to the Old Captiva House a very pretty old school nautical decor. The Rack of lamb did not disappoint , also you can do cocktails at the crows nest next door. Service was not spot on but it was a busy holiday night

Wonderful food, great atmosphere and good service. Parking is a little confusing, but we found a spot and made it in plenty time for our reservation. Loved it. Outdoor and indoor dining. Classy and upscale but not pretentious.

Great location across from the beach with parking available. During Christmas they have a great light setup and a candy cane lane pathway. The food is higher end with prices that aren't on the high side. Seating indoors and out.

Wow! I came here for dinner and had a spectacular meal! This restaurant has managed to combine the relaxed beach resort atmosphere with elevated cuisine and fine dining. I had the chef's special that night, which was a cornmeal encrusted flounder on a bed of peppers and corn, surrounded in a key lime chipotle sauce! Whoa! Unbelivable flavor and perfectly balanced! My mother had a crab bisque, with the bisque poured over the crab at the table. She said it was phenomenal. The chef came out and made rounds with each guest, which was really cool to see. I wanted to tell him how good everything was! Overall, we were very impressed with the food and the service. In fact, as a Fort Myers native and foodie, I would say this restaurant certainly ranks in the top tier of what Sanibel has to offer, and the Fort Myers area in general.

Excellent experience. Eric was our Waiter and took very good care of us. My party of 10 had reservations and were immediately seated upon entering. The Waiter was very familiar with the menu and his recommendations were on point. I had the Lamb chops and my wife had the Filet Mignon. Incredible dishes. This restaurant is a must try when visiting Captiva. Great Job and Thank you.
