Conventional concrete is made with cement, the production of which accounts for nearly 10% of the world’s CO2 emissions! We’ve replaced cement in the mix with steel slag, industrial waste that is far cheaper than cement. Using carbonation activation, CO2 is injected into the wet concrete to give it its strength. Because we capture and permanently sequester CO2 in the concrete, these products are carbon-negative. Our patented technology can be implemented in any concrete products plant.
