Always enjoy stopping in after a hike at Spur Cross. It had been a while! The prices are high but it's a nice spot. I tried thr gluten free blueberry muffin for the first time and it was delicious!

Carefree Coffee Roastery is beyond exceptional! We came upon this little gem in the desert while visiting Arizona from Ohio. The very personable owner Lars has such a depth of knowledge and passion for his coffee. My wife and I had the best lattes we have ever tasted here and are now ordering our coffee beans from here to be shipped to Ohio. This will the only coffee we drink from here on out! 10 stars for Carefree Coffee Roastery!!!!
Fantastic coffee beverages; pastries and breakfast sandwich...the menu ..looked great for lunch.....super outside seating and inside...cozy. First time visit. Customer service great...Their muffins and coffee type goodies were delicious and very good size compared to some coffee places around the valley, Try it out...nice folks. You will enjoy.
Definitely a must try if you don't want just any run of the mill coffee. They have great fair trade & organic roasts to choose from and they grind it for you if you don't want to do it yourself which was great for me as I am just visiting and don't have my grinder.
I got a coffee and the chorizo burrito. Very happy about both!
