My contact at this travel agent was always there! And kept me informed every step of the way. She always responded almost immediately during working hours and answered every question I had. Did not have any time at all to worry because I was in such good hands! Thank you for getting me home to Guyana from the UK Edith! (and the rest of the team). she was also just a lovely person. Keeping it short. Only was able to provide part of the flight itinerary due to lockdown whilst abroad in March/April . Had to make own arrangements to get back to the UK as they stopped communicating with me. Tried to claim partial payment back but CARIBEE insisted they forfilled their obligations. Unfortunately my credit card company messed up on this and not only made me whole but disappointingly made CARIBEE whole as well. As a foot note beware they charge you the now defunct credit card fee for using a credit card and if like me the person your travelling with has paid and you want to sit with them you will have very little choice if you want Section 75 protecting as offered by credit card. AVIOD —————————————————————————————————————————- In response to CARIBEE reply. 1/ My contract was with yourselves not LIAT (fact in English Law) as mentioned. 2/ It is rich of you to now say you were in contact when I have evidence to prove you did not respond to my messages and I was unable to make phone contact with office. 3/ CARIBEE still fail to acknowledge I PAID them for 4 flights only 3 of those can be said to been forfilled. 4/ CARIBEE are still playing the “look at us and how hard we have had it “! What about me the customer who was stranded abroad ! They have/ should have insurance to cover themselves and therefore claim off them not expect me the customer to pay for a service only partially forfilled! My experience and rating still stands and as I had mentioned in correspondence , I don’t believe my credit card company should have paid back the full amount and would have looked forward with gusto my day in court if it had got to that stage. As it stands I have been made whole as do unfortunately CARIBEE have for providing only 3/4 of the contract.

Staff at Travel shop are very helpful, always pleasant and polite. They were extremely understanding and very helpful getting my mother back from Guyana. My family have used this service for years and I have referred many friends to them but during this difficult period I must say that I do not know what I would have done. It was the confidence that I have in their care and service that assured me that they would do everything in their power to get my mum home. Special acknowledgement to Nadeene who responded quickly with information and was always understanding. Thank you once again.
