Poke bowl rice stick together into a big ball. Saumon is supermarket quality instead of fresh saumon , and I’ve never seen a restaurant which serves customers with bowls that has many breaches.

Hipster sushi shack with innovative menu. Execution doesn’t quite measure up to the menu’s aspirations however. None the less considering you’re in a small town in the Gaspe this is not a bad option. Back terrace and view is killer. Hip spot worth a try.

I was there this Summer. - fresh fish, seafood - lively atmosphere - ocean view terrace - overcooked and too compacted rice - too large portion of rice against size of fish/seafood - no real soy sauce (only the one made from powder) - wasabi with no real kick - rushed service If you know what the real sushi is in Japan and if you are expecting something similar, this place won’t please you. But if you would like to experience something different or you are craving for Asian food in this region it worths at least a try. Of course I knew that I could not expect a real sushi in this part of Quebec but my expectation was a bit higher hence the 3 star. If I could, I would give 2.5. When you make a reservation over the phone, make sure to get the person’s name on the other end of the line - we reserved a table over the phone the night before but the restaurent couldn’t find the record when we arrived and it took sometime to find a table for us (and perhaps that was the reason for the rushed service). It sounded if we knew who took our reservation, it would have expedited the process. We were standing in the middle of the restaurant for good 10min. Overall it was okay. I would order other Asian dishes but not sushi if I ever go back to this place.

The sushi is nothing special and it’s quite expensive for what you get. The nigiri we got was poorly constructed - huge chunk of fish on an even bigger slab of rice.

Great atmosphere. Fun place to bring friends or family. Great seafood menu. However the menu does need more options for those who dont est seafood (my friend is allergic to shellfish). The waiter was great! We ordered a pitcher of sangria, it definitely needed more fruit and it was very diluted, could barely taste the wine. It was my 3rd visit but not sure I'll be back.
