We have two more nights to go here and there's nothing like the sound and vibes of the ocean crashing on the beach. So revitalizing! The ONLY thing I would like to see added to the rooms is some USB charging ports. Other than that, I appreciate the KISS approach with a fantastic location with a S ton of amenities around the "Village".

This place is so great! The location couldn’t be better, quiet rooms, and we loved having the option to use the heated pool, play billiards, or read in the little library. My husband and i were there for our wedding anniversary and the staff was very accommodating with late check out. It’s conveniently located right next to a bar and restaurant (but it’s not in the hotel itself, this is what I thought based off of other reviews). Because of covid the hot tubs and gym are closed and the continental breakfast it set up is a little awkward since you can’t help yourself but I appreciate the safety measures being there during this pandemic. They have an underground parking garage too, if you have a tall truck tho, be cautious! Some things I think could make the stay better are; our shower head and water pressure were low, the heater & bathroom fan are very loud, and there is no air flow through the room so it easily gets musty. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to be right by the beach.

Worst hotel stay I’ve had in many years. I had to use ear plugs to try to drown out the noise of the constant yells from children and luggage carts going by my room. No sound proofing at all - I expected more. I would recommend paying slightly more and staying across the street at the Carlsbad Inn. I wish I had, after a sleepless night from all the noise.

Really great location. Good parking. The rooms are clean and fairly up to date. The property itself is a bit dated. Staff seemed nice enough. It's on a busy road between it and the beach but it's a short walk. I would come back.

Super nice view of the ocean. The rooms and patios set back so you don't see US 1 between you and the ocean. Our room needed a up grade. It just looked old for what you pay. We had a two bedroom suite that was very spacious. Had a full size kitchen was hardly stocked. But most people seam to eat out at all the great restaurants within walking distance.
