Not a resort, so don't expect one. You should consider this a summer camp type area with amazing educational opportunities. Also, not a hunting club! This facility has the equipment and staff to teach people about hunting and game management, fishing and fisheries management, wildlife identification, orienteering, archery, firearms, and back to nature rugged camping. The lake is pristine, but like most natural mountain lakes, there is not a groomed beach. The shoreline is all natural silt, mud, trees, and muskeg. "Glampers" and "hipsters" stay home.

I take my sons here for father-son retreats and the experience is always 5 stars. Great hiking, canoeing, archery and always a "blast" shooting the .22 & .223 rifles and 12 gauge shotguns.
