A hidden gem. Plenty of space here for a walk without running into anyone else. Beach ranges from gravel to sand at the very point for parking. All sorts of interesting fossils and stones as well as different types of wetlands, grasslands & forests.

Really beautiful park with good sized dunes, gorgeous lake & straits shore, tons of pebbles to collect. Lots of trails to hike, although no dogs during the summer months in the beaches. They had a lot of camp sites and a few rustic cabins. Really underrated Park in Emmett county's back yard!

Great hiking trails (swampy so bring plenty of bug spray, then put bug spray on top of that). Trails were well marked (I had novice hiking family members lead the way without issue). Many of the trails have some really cool swampland to walk through, my biggest regret about the trails I hiked was the lack of shoreline trail. But the woods were awesome. Park staff was super friendly, people camping were pleasant. We didn't use the beach there (used the public beaches north of the state park, they were less populated).

This is a great camp ground for those who like tent camping. We hike most of the trails. At the top of mt. Nebo we saw a great horned owl. That was quite exciting since I’ve never seen one in the wild before. The bathroom was very clean.

Beautiful park! Dog Beach is beautiful!!! Our kids loved all trails and beaches! If you can get a site on the beach do it! You won't regret it!
