Nio Sum
A convenient & great place to eat and snack! Awesome choices from many favorite grilled, BBQd, stewed, fried, boiled, etc, meats, veggies, fruits!
We had a BIG lunch with grilled giant squid, mongo stew, dilis (fried, crunchy smelts), bitter melon stew, BBQ chicken, and rice The squid was a bit overdone, blacked spots & tentacles. Our dessert was an old time fave, ginatang mongo (sweetened mongo beans cooked in coconut milk).
We brought some of the dessert back to Lolo & Lolo’s house since we haven’t had this dessert since we were in the Philippines!
If you’re hungry, your eyes & nose will get full before you even start eating. A must place to eat, take out, and pick-up for family parties.
Plenty of parking, except on weekends, outside and it’s inside Seafood City. The location also has Jollibee, Valerio’s & Red Ribbon bakeries, Chow King and a laundrymat. Across the street is another Filipino Plaza with Goldilock’s, Manila Lechon, Joy Bakery, Tambuli, etc...
Great place to be and to eat endlessly!
