The reviews of this place are highly over rated. The place serves significantly expired items like soft drinks that expired in nov 2017 (its now May 2018). The candy was old, dry and hard on our visit. We visited on the may long weekend and the place had no one in it and still the owner worked away on their laptop without even saying hello. The pastry photos included in other reviewers posts looked really nice but on our visit there was no similarity to those great photos. Very disappointed to dive into a bag of candy and crack open a pop shop drink to find it tasted horrible and was so old!
Amazing candy store! Carstairs only major candy store has a lot to offer, including ice cream, and even amazing mini donuts cooked fresh to order!! Keep it up guys.
