Had him fixing different parts on my car I paid him for new parts and he buying used parts for my truck
Had a radiator blow out on the interstate. Owner was very helpful, even went as far as to give me and my family a loaner car for the night so we could get to the hotel. Would be 5 stars but the repair took about 2 hours longer than he originally stated. The price was more than fair.
I bought a Ford expedition from him. It had a miss and he said it was just rain water getting under the hood and dropping down the engine. The real cause was several coils and distributor were bad, the timing belt was loose so much so, that it put a hole in the timing belt cover and left one on the shavings in the engine. In addition to what I paid him I had to invest another 2000 worth of repairs to bring the car to safe running condition and it may still need a new engine. Either he is a bad mechanic or crook. I will never recover the loss I sustained by buying this car.
