Aerial Paragliding has a great staff and the perfect training site. Both together make for the best training one could ask for. I knew that paragliding was something I wanted to become involved with so I researched what would be the best way to begin. Found Aerial to be the best solution, plus it was located in an area Cashmere/Leavenworth Wa.which I absolutely enjoy. They have a nice bunk house where you can stay (less Covid!), same building used to provide ground school. You are also allowed to camp out of your van or pitch a tent, beautiful setting. The training site saved my bacon! I was continuously making an error on my reverse launches, "not moving forward while turning to finish the launch technique". Even though Denise was yelling (standing next to me) for me to pull brake! For some reason I didn't (totally my error). This caused me to get plucked off and airborn. I rightly crashed into the soft dirt hillside. I did break my ankle for totally screwing up ,but at a lessor location my fate would have been much worse. Still love this way of flying and plan to be back. Don't forget to do a lot of kiting!

Without a doubt the best place to learn to paraglide in Washington State, possibly North America. Denise, Derrick and Matt are well known and respected in the paragliding community and stress the fundamentals that are required to enjoy this amazing sport. The Ranch offers a huge training area with access to multiple uncrowded launches. If it's not working at the Ranch(which is rare), there are several other sites nearby that are available. On site accommodations include a huge modern and very affordable "bunkhouse" for us out of town-ers. Do it, and become an Aerial Alum!
Great great great instructors. If you want to learn how to fly with sound technique, learn here. Taught on a private site where you don't have to worry about the crowds, and convenient comfortable lodging available for very cheap if you need to stay on site.
Aerial Paragliding is one of the best places to learn to paraglide in the US. They have beautiful terrain to learn to fly on and an awesome vibe. If you are thinking about trying paragliding give Aerial a try.
Great instruction in a unique and beautiful setting. Doug and Denise are great! Bunkhouse was so nice to stay in! Can't say enough good about this place!
Both Doug and Denise are incredibly helpful and show a commutes love for the sport. I was not as fortunate to learn with them but have participated on SIV hosted by Aerial Paragliding and have received plenty of support while paragliding on Eastern WA and looking for the best new gear. A
Just to be frank, this is the premier paragliding school in Washington state It is situated perfectly for the learning and aspiring Paraglider The instruction is top notch Recommend this place above all others
