If there was negative stars I would put that!! Marty Hansen appraised my house 23K less than I am paying property taxes for. I could see 5-10K but 23K less????? I called to discuss this with him and he would not call me back. He called the MTG company and miss lead them to think he called me and I was unhappy about it but understood. HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK!!!!! What kind of business person is this??? Lowballs people on their houses and then miss leads the Mortgage company!!!????

If you want your home appraised well below market value, here's your guy. Also after our inspection was complete we were informed 2 days later there were items he "didn't take the time to read from the lender" and had to come back, which my wife and I had to completely alter our Labor Day plans to accommodate the 2nd visit. We purchased our home 2 years ago below our 202k appraisal value. After Champion Windows and the Doorman installing new windows/ insulated garage door (4500 alone for just these), repainting the entire interior, professional flooring replacements including refinishing the hardwood floors, entire master bath remodel again professionally contracted doubling the size with double sink/vanity and tile as well as all new front yard landscaping, our 2600sqft home appraised for only 205k in a growing market in a great east side neighborhood?There was a home on our street listed for 259k on realtor at the time that was slightly larger but not in as good of condition or recently remodeled (didn't even have vinyl siding) In addition we were told by more than 1 real estate professional prior to the appraisal we were in the 230-240k range. When I questioned him about all of this, he hid behind the lender, saying that he needed his clients permission to speak to me, which I was the one who paid the 699 fee directly out of pocket. It doesn't take a real estate license to clearly see what happened here. This is our 5th home and thus have been thru this process multiple times. There were several higher, more comparable comps in the area, he chose to take the lowest. We just want others to know. There are multiple appraisers here in Casper, please choose one who won't do to you what Marty did to us.
